Facebook posts that make me puke a little in my mouth!

Loving your family is one thing, but telling the world so much on your facebook is another. Seriously, some peoples status messages make me gag. Of course, I am sure I have some that make people want to gag, but I would like to think I have more funny ones rather then "trying to convince myself I have a happy family by telling the world everyday" type messages.

It is cute to sometimes post about how much you love your family...sometimes you just have those moments. It happens. To post day in and day out what a great family you have, how much you love you husband, your kids, you dog...blah blah blah....STOP! It gets to the point it looks like you are trying to convince yourself you are happy and love your family rather then actually loving them. Seriously, it does.

If a person is really happy with their lives, they do not care about telling the world, they honestly can give a fuck less what anyone things. Like myself, I KNOW I have the BEST husband, the BEST son, everything, I am very content...but I will not shove it down someones throat because I honestly can care less what anyone else things. I am happy and that is all that matters. I do not need to prove it to anyone else.

I think this has to come from immaturity or just wanting attention. I don't know. I would rather post on facebook about how good my fart just felt as I let it out rather then my family is perfect. (We are far from perfect) Sometimes I would rather bang my head against the wall rather then reading some peoples messages. I do understand that people will be people and post what they want...which is fine. I do know I have the option to hide them or take them off my list...but I am just too nosey. I would rather just bitch in my blog!

I agree. I roll my eyes at those.

The only time I've ever said anything like "Love her fabulous husband" is b/c it was followed up with "because he got me Kenny Chesney tickets!"

But, just the daily "loves her husband" or "has fabulous kids" : GAG!

oh i have had my share of "gag" posts, but just constantly makes me ill....if you have to do it that much, you just have to be trying to convince yourself...i swear!

Hahaha I'm so glad someone else feels the same way! Sometimes I feel bad for making fun of facebook posts/status updates like that. Then I just get over it haha. I think the worst is when my friends update theirs statuses with how much weight they lose each week. Ok it's only 2 girls, but whyyyy?
