Martini Mama....where are you?

Oh it has been a busy few days. Let me start by saying this...if my laptop ever dies I think I am going to die right along with it. Yesterday was the most tramatic day of my life. I go to plug in my iPhone to download the new update for....and my computer goes popup crazy. I don't know how I got a virus...I do not download anything....but I got one. I went into this rage. I thought my world was coming to an end. This is the week of midterms for me, my iPhone needed updated, my crops needed harvested (don't judge)...it was just gone. I freaked out and ended up reformating the whole damn thing. I lost everything that was on it (still is mourning over my loss of CS3) but I came to the adult decision school is more important then anything else so I put on my big girl panties and reformated the whole thing...and now its better then ever and faster then ever so I am happy. I got my iPhone updated around this time last night and I am one happy lady. The only thing that could make me happier is if I had a drink next to me, but I am content.

How is that to start a Monday? Not only that I am PMS'ing like crazy, for no reason all week this rage comes over me...okay I have reasons, but they are not the best of reasons...besides my computer....! I am craving chocolate like a mad women but I refuse to eat it because next week I have another appt with my surgeon and I really need to lose like 2lbs by then. I do not think I blogged about it because I do not want my blog to turn into some gastric bypass blog, but that is what I am going to have done in November...if everything goes as planned. I am excited.

Can you tell my life has been crazy?! I just wanted to check in, I am around...I am trying to be around more now that my computer is back to life. Excuse this week though, midterms are going to kick my ass!

Grammar....who needs it! Not this mama!

I went back to school...why? Please hurry, someone remind me. Not that I didn't already have enough to do during the day being a stay at home mom. For those that are working moms, yes being a stay at home mom is hard and it keeps you nonstop busy...but then this crazy women decides to go back to school! I must have had one too many martini's when I decided this. So last night I have 5 chapters to read and take notes on. This is just for my grammar class. I have not had a grammar class since high school...I was like "wtf is a helping verb" I did not have to know that when making a settlement statement! So of course since I do not remember any parts of sentences I am taking notes out of my ass...trying to remember all this stuff last night. I finally get done with notes and I still had to go to my 2 classes. I figure those will be easy, answer some questions and be done. Oh no, the instructor had questions in the questions for us to answer. I can't complain because that was in the grammar class and I do need all the help that I can get, but after a day of taking care of a toddler, cooking, cleaning, and all that fun stuff I was hella tired. So I did my class work and went upstairs, and got a shower. At this time i remembered that I had forgot to order my meds and I only had one left, so I couldn't take one last night before bed, because I had to save it for this morning because if I didn't take it this morning I would not of been able to function all today. So as I was laying in bed thinking about how bad I needed my meds my head was spinning and I was trying not to puke becuase I had no meds. AHH! Oh ya, and did I mention some crazy biatch was outside screaming saying that 2 people she knew robbed her. OMG...you know me, I had to open the window and listen to that crap. DRAMA. SOOOOOOOOOO.......I finally get to sleep and I have this crazy dream some guy is trying to kill me and all I remember is screaming.

Hubby called me this morning asking me what I was dreaming about because I woke up 3 times screaming at the top of my lungs in my sleep! CrAzY! I am blaming that whole craziness on not having my meds, because those that are on antidepressant/anxiety meds know that you HAVE to have those or you feel soo funky. I can not wait til Andrew gets home today with my medicine. I feel like a crack head. "I just need one pill" haha.

So, I guess this is going to be my life until I get out of school. I am running on fumes and coffee....and the occasional martini!

Hangover gone, dinner turned out yummy, did good on finals....bring on the weekend!

Let me just say, I will not drink too many beers again. I decided it would be fun to drink last night, I do not know what I decided this but I did, and I payed for it today. What a waste of a day, next time I will remember to stick to the cocktails, and only one or two! Me and the boy laid around all day and did pretty much nothing.

I did make a hella good dinner for the hubby tonight. My friend told me about a good jerk seasoning, Walkerswood. I let the chicken marinate all night in it and baked it today. Let me tell you, it was so good. I was so excited that I actually made a really good dinner. I am not one to cook, so when I do and it turns out yummy I get proud! Let me share the picture (ya I am a dork, but I told you I was proud)

Now that is a yummy meal!

After dinner I decided to take my finals for both of my classes, that way I didn't have to worry about school until Sunday, when my classes open up for Monday. I am soo excited I got a "A" on one and a "C" on the other!!!  I am going to try to get a head start on these classes, I know these ones are going to require more work, so I am going to have to come up with a system to be able to do work in the mornings before the boy wakes up. That is going to be my starting goal, to get up in the morning and get my classes at least started before the boy wakes up, that way I can clean and all that fun stuff too!

We are going to my mom and dads for a little cook out tomorrow. I cant wait to see them, and it will be good to have Xavier run around outside tomorrow! I have to remember to bring the camera!

Okay time for me to lay down comfy in bed and watch the rest of 20/20....the boy is sleep early...I am so happy about that I can dance.

Sex and the City 2 Review.... *no spoilers*

I got passes to the midnight showing of the Sex and the City 2 last night (or should I say this morning). I wasn't going to go, but my friend called me at 11:15pm and we decided to hurry and go. I am so happy we did. I am not going to give a whole review...sorry if that is what you were looking for, but I decided it is not like me to sit here and write a review of the movie, because it's a long movie, and also, you just need to see it. If you are a Sex and The City fan, just go. It was so fun to see it in the theater with a bunch of women. I never laughed so hard in the movie theather in my life. It was that good. This is by far not a spoiler...because I absolutly hate when people do that, but now that Charlotte and Meranda have kids, it shows that side of things and how moms need a break, and I really liked that. I just can not stress enough...go see this movie... you will not regret it!

So I got back home around 3:15am, got a shower and headed to bed. I am actually wide awake which surprises me for the amount of sleep I actually got. I need to get this living room cleaned. Its driving me insane and I just cant take sitting here. I also have to get back into going to class. This week is finals, and even though I have finals I still have to go to class...which I have been slacking on...so I must do that the rest of the week. I ust cat sit here and go to class with a mess around me. I just better not clean up this mess of toys and this lil'monster pull them all out again. I will make sure that doesn't happen.

That is like my extent of excitement for awhile. That is pretty bad that I get that excited to go to the movies. LOL. I guess that is some of the things we kinda give up when we become parents.

Why did I teach my child to talk?

Before I had a child I always said "I will never teach my kids to talk." That is one thing that I wish I would of listened to myself with, and actually followed through with. I promise if I have another kid (which is almost 100% that I will not do) I will not make the same mistake twice. I liked it when he would just lay there and sleep, eat, and poop. It was so much easier. He would just cry if he needed something, and the only thing he would need was a diaper change or a bottle. Now I have to put up with the "NOOOO" or just simple talking back all day. Yes, it is very nice now that he can tell me what he wants and needs, but now I can put down something that he loved to eat last week and he looks at it and says "no thats yuckie". How do you reason with a 2 year old to just try it? If anyone has any amazing tips on this, please please please help a sista out, because I need all the help that I can get when it comes to this. I refuse to make him something else, I won't... the only way I will is if I know he has not ate it before but if I know he likes it, it sits there. Am I right for not making him something else, I just do not have time to keep making food.

I did not go to class yesterday, so I have to go today, and I really need to finish taking my notes for my one class. If I didn't mention it before, I go to the University of Phoenix. It is all online and I really love it, but it is really hard to find time. Since I do not have a set time it is all about ME pushing myself to get things done, I do not have someone over me to kick my butt. The good thing is one of my best friends (she is the one who kicked my butt to start school...and I love her for it) but anyway, she goes...so now we push each other and we have someone to talk to about it. I just really didn't realize how much work goes into school, I mean I haven't been there in years so I honestly forgot about how much work went into it, and honestly when I was in high school I barely did the work anyway, so that doesn't really count. *oops*

I would suggest anyone that is thinking about going back, to just do it. Heck, message me and I will help you, and we can get through it together!!

Did he really just turn the TV back on?

I have been trying to figure out how I wanted to start my blog, do I want to introduce myself and yadda yadda yadda, or do I want to dive right in....I say dive right in. I mean, seriously, it can't be that hard can it?

I figured this would be a good time to start my blog, it is late and I am sitting here on our bed waiting for the little one to go to sleep. We are finally 100% getting him in his room, he is soo cute about it. He loves his bed, he loves laying in it watching TV to go to sleep. It is fine with my hubby and I, as long as he goes to sleep we are not picky. The funny thing is, this 2 year old is smart. Like really smart. He has to get it from me, because he is sneaky smart. Like for instance, I am sure he thought I was sleep...actually I know he thought I was sleep and I saw the light come on in his room (the TV light since I went in and made him shut it off) and I watched, he peaked around the corner of his door saw me sitting here and ran back into bed as if he didn't turn on the TV. Now I know I am the mom and I should go in and tell him not to put the TV back on, but seriously, he must not be tired right? What do I do when I am not tired, either sit on Facebook or turn on the TV. I know I am wrong by not going in and standing my grounds, but after a long day of stress, I have learned how to pick my battles, and this is not something I want to deal with. He isn't bothering anyone, so what...he stays up a little late and sleeps in...YIPPEE...that means momma gets to sleep in to! It's kind of a win win. Right?

So I started University of Phoenix, next week is my first set of finals, then I am onto my second set of classes. Let me tell you how much I love going back to school...I LOVE it...I really do. The thing I hate, the school work that goes into it. I sorta forgot that writing papers, reading chapters, taking notes, and assignments all come with classes. DUH...but seriously I didn't realize. Then with the University of Phoenix classes are only nine weeks long, so its faster passed and more work is thrown at you. My life now consists of cleaning, cooking, taking care of the monster, and school...there is no time in there for anything else. I am still trying to figure out time for me and my husband, but I just do not see where our time comes in at. By the time we are alone in bed, we are so freakin' tired we pass out as soon as our heads hit the pillows! I need 48 hours in my day, then I might actually be able to get things completed around here. Maybe then my house can be clean for once, or maybe I will then actually learn how to cook? Am I asking for too much? Maybe?
